Thanksgiving is probably one of the best American holidays because the entire point is to surround yourself with family and friends and gobble up tons of delicious food. There’s no gift-giving pressure or fireworks terrifying all of the neighborhood dogs, and you’re basically guaranteed to be in bed long before midnight (in fact, if you are still awake at midnight, you’ve done something terribly wrong).

The only time stress might enter the picture is if you’re expected to prepare the Thanksgiving feast for everyone to enjoy, but we’re here to help you maximize a restful long weekend with the best Thanksgiving dinners at San Francisco’s most impressive restaurants, including dine-in and take-home options. But don’t delay in placing an order or making a reservation—these turkeys are going fast.
